Minggu, 22 Maret 2020
Al Sadad, the owner and assembler of VW cars, admitted that he needed 3 months to finish this car car. He applied two used VW cars that were damaged and could not operate. Two used cars were then overhauled and combined into a car that can run normally again. As for the car body, it is made from Recycle Teak. This teak wood is very good quality and even resistant to hot weather or rain. A very unique point is that some of the sides of the car body are given a distinctive touch of carving in Jepara. As seen on the front and rear bumpers, doors, lights and mirrors.
This unique thing that can be driven has won four international awards. Namely at the International VW event "Jogja Volkswagen Festival 2015" which was held in the city of Jogjakarta on November 21-22, 2015. The wooden VW car named "Recycle Teak" was awarded as The Best People Choice and The Best Modification of Heavy VW Type 181 / 182. In addition, also received awards from VW magazines from Japan and Ukraine. The festival was attended by around 2500 participants from several Asian countries and European countries. Participants who attended presented various types of VW with creative and very unique modifications. Even so, the wooden VW car that was also carved into this is the only one in the festival.
